Trailer Acquisition Purchases Certain Assets of United Expressline, Inc.

Trailer Acquisition Corp., Inc.. is pleased to announce the purchase of certain assets of United Expressline, Inc. The new company was formed by the existing management team of United and is led by its’ president Todd Bontrager. The new company plans to change its name in the near future to United Trailers, Inc.
Bontrager commented “We are very committed to providing our dealers and customers with excellent service and products as we move forward. Employees of United Expressline will have the opportunity to continue to be an important part of our team in the future”.

“While certain adjustments in United Trailers operations will occur it will function much as in the past” Bontrager stated.
On April 17th, 1989, the first trailer came off the production line at United Trailers (formerly marketed as United Expressline). Twenty-three years later, the company is one of the top steel-framed enclosed cargo and specialty trailer manufacturers in the United States.

United Trailers has grown to be one of the top names in the cargo trailer industry. What began in a single 50 x 150 foot building with less than 15 employees has expanded over the years to include an over 26 acre manufacturing facility that employs more than 130 people. 
United Trailers are sold in the United States and Canada through an independent dealer network. Trailers are available in a wide range of configurations, from 5-Wide to 8.5-Wide, and from 8 to 53 feet in length. Tag, Gooseneck and Fifth-Wheel body styles are all available. United Trailers has prospered and grown by providing a quality product at a competitive price, and by expanding its network of independent dealers.
